The curriculum for students enrolled in Electrology course shall consist of 600 hours of theoretical and practical (hands-on) instruction.  Theoretical instruction refers to instruction by demonstration, lecture, classroom participation or examination whereas practical training (hands-on) is the time to perform a practical operation.  Students can take the online portion at their own pace.  However, it is required that the student finish the online and textbook study prior to the start of the hands-on portion of the training.  This program leads to licensure in the State of Utah.
