Massage

A form of energy healing adapted from traditional Reiki practices, specifically designed to support the health and well-being of animals. Like Reiki for humans, Animal Reiki is based on the belief that a universal life force energy flows through all living beings and that this energy can be channelled to promote healing, balance, and relaxation in animals.

During an Animal Reiki session, the practitioner channels energy to the animal, either by placing hands gently on the animal's body or by working from a short distance. The approach is non-invasive and deeply respectful of the animal's comfort and boundaries. Sessions are typically conducted in a calm, quiet environment where the animal feels safe, such as in their home, a shelter, or a natural setting.

Animal Reiki can be beneficial for animals dealing with a variety of issues, including physical ailments, emotional stress, behavioral problems, or the effects of trauma. 

Animal Reiki

A form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The word "Reiki" comes from the Japanese words "rei," meaning universal, and "ki," meaning life energy. 
It is based on the belief that a universal life force flows through all living things and that this energy can be channeled to promote healing, balance, and well-being.

In a typical Reiki session, I use gentle hand movements, either hovering just above the body or lightly touching it, to guide healing energy. The goal is to clear energy blockages, balance the body's energy centers (often referred to as chakras), and promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

Reiki is known for its calming and relaxing effects. It can help reduce stress, alleviate pain, and enhance emotional clarity. While it is not a replacement for medical treatment, many people find that Reiki complements traditional healthcare by supporting the body’s natural healing processes.

Reiki

This is a therapeutic practice rooted in ancient Ayurvedic tradition, designed to relieve stress and promote relaxation. Originating in India over 1,000 years ago, it focuses on massaging the head, neck, shoulders, and face, which are considered vital energy center's. 

This massage technique involves a variety of movements including kneading, rubbing, and tapping, which stimulate blood circulation, improve lymphatic drainage, and release tension.

Indian Head Massage is known for its holistic benefits. It helps alleviate headaches, reduce anxiety, and improve sleep quality. By working on the upper body, it also relieves tension in muscles, eases mental fatigue, and enhances concentration. Additionally, it can promote hair growth by stimulating the hair follicles and improving scalp health.

I offer a bespoke treatment with Reiki at the end of the session.
