In the context of eyelash extensions, an "infill" (often referred to as a "refill") is a maintenance procedure where new lash extensions are added to replace those that have fallen out due to the natural eyelash growth cycle. Because natural lashes grow and shed in cycles, typically over a span of about 6 to 8 weeks, lash extensions will gradually become sparser as some natural lashes fall out with the extensions attached.

During an infill appointment, the lash technician will:

Remove any extensions that have loosened or grown out too far from the eyelid due to the natural growth of the lashes.
Clean the existing lashes to remove any buildup of makeup, oil, or debris.
Apply new extensions to the new natural lashes that have grown in since the last appointment.
