the process of using moist heat to help open up the hair follicles and pores on your scalp to allow better absorption of moisture. The moist heat from the steam opens up the cuticle (the outermost part of hair shaft) to allow the moisture to enter the cortex (protein fiber of the hair). Benefits of steaming include: preventing breakage and hair loss to helping hair become more manageable. Also steaming the scalp removes built up skin cells and improves blood flow and circulation for hair growth.

Factors that impact the cost of twists is the length of your hair, the size of the twists, and the type of hair you have. The longer the hair the more time it will take for stylist to create. Also size factors. Smaller twists take more time than bigger ones. Another factor is condition of hair. If chemically treated or tangled or extensions. These all impact the cost as it will take stylist extra time to ensure no damage and to prepare hair.
