30 Minute Express Massage

Wellness Massage

This treatment is beneficial for pain relief, decreases muscle spasms and increases the sensory nerve conduction velocity. Infrared Light Therapy also improves the action of the mitochondria within cells, triggering the growth and repair of new muscle cells and tissues, with the advantage of an increase in endorphins influencing the pain gate mechanism. 

Infrared Light Therapy

This treatment is a non-invasive practice which increases blood flow to the targeted area, helping to reduce swelling and inflammation and speed up the healing process. It is commonly used to treat tendinopathy issues, Fibromyalgia, muscle spasms/knots/sprains/strains and non-acute joint swelling.

Ultrasound Therapy

Posture Assessments will determine whether a person has any postural deviations, imbalances, muscle weaknesses or any other faults in a clients movement patterns which could be causing pain or discomfort. From this, available treatments and advice can be provided. 

Posture Assessment

Clinical assessments cover musculoskeletal function, joint stability, and biomechanics, helping identify any predispositions or imbalances that may increase the risk of activity-related injuries. By understanding an individual's unique physical characteristics and movement patterns, will provide targeted interventions, such as corrective exercises, strength and conditioning programs, or injury prevention strategies. Proactively addressing potential injury risks can significantly reduce the likelihood of acute or chronic injuries, enabling clients to perform at their best while minimising time spent  out of action in all aspects of life.

Clinical Assessment

This treatment has two techniques, Maitland's (Passively) and Mulligans (Actively). The treatments are used to aid reduction of pain, improve range of motion, and improve quality of the joint movement itself (known as arthrokinematics).

Joint Mobilisation/ Spinal Mobilisation

Lymphatic drainage massage, also known as manual lymphatic drainage, relieves swelling that happens when medical treatment or illness blocks your lymphatic system. Lymphatic drainage massage involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to help lymph move to an area with working lymph vessels. This treatment is known to help conditions such as; Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lipoedema and Chronic Venous Insufficiency.

Lymphatic Drainage

MET involves the subject to voluntarily contract the muscle in a precisely controlled direction against the therapist's counter force. Its therapeutic effects are to reduce pain, reduce muscle tone, stretch tightened muscles, strengthen the weak muscles, improve local circulation and mobilise joint restrictions.

Muscle Energy Techniques (METs)

Encourage full body comfort and relaxation whilst removing toxins from the body. Reduce inflammation, enhance blood flow and encourage development of red blood cells. Reduces Cholesterol and Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) also, aiding in preventing cardiovascular diseases like atherosclerosis. Another known benefit to this technique is heightening pain threshold. 

Suction Cupping

Deep tissue massage which aids in the relief of muscular tension and pain. Increases blood flow and muscle temperature to support accelerated recovery from injuries or post-activity soreness.
